HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
I had plans to write a long, elaborate post this week but real life has invaded as usual. I'm tying up some loose ends at work as well as working on a proposal that could bring me LOTS of new business for 2006. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited. Slowly but surely, my clientele has been increasing. I'm having the darndest time finding office space though. This is one of the times when I miss living in Cali. There was ALWAYS space available for sub-lease. Even though I'm anxious to put my splurge new laptop bag through the paces, I told jezchill I wouldn't bring any work with me on our vacation.
The weather in Hawaii isn't as warm as I thought it would be so my hopes of lying on the beach everyday have been dashed. I plan to hit up Borders for few books tomorrow and make sure my iPod is well-charged for the EIGHT HOUR flight. I haven't sat on a plane for that long in years. I don't see how you frequent international travelers *cough*E to the Dwige and BC*cough* do it. Any suggestions?
The wedding plans are coming along well. Let me be the first to say that long engagements suck. I'm ready to go ahead and do the damn thing. Hopefully, the time will fly by though. In closing, have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Wonderful Winter Solstice and Fabulous Festivus.
