I'M THE KING

I was in the airport this morning (I'm actually typing this on the plane) headed to the west coast. I noticed a really tall guy who looked a bit "thugged out", shall we say. I chided myself for stereotyping and figured hey, even thugs have to travel. LOL. That's when I noticed a short guy with huge aviator sunglasses walking next to him. I thought he looked familar but couldn't think of where I knew him from. Then it dawned on me, it was none other than T.I. I did a double-take because there was no entourage (just him and one other guy) and no one was even looking in his direction. My suspicions were confirmed when I saw a girl approach him for a hug as well as the 15+ pieces of luggage that the porter had wheeled to the counter for him.

My weekend was rather mundane, which I actually appreciated after the week I had at work. I got a lot of things done but as usual, my to do list never gets completely done. I sent out the proposal I was working on and am waiting to hear back from the investment group as to whether or not they will retain my services. I know my bid was higher than the other one they received but I'm not to willing to drastically slash my prices just to win a contract. I got my latest newsletter sent out as well. I plan on mailing out reminder postcards later this week too. I'm really trying to ramp up my marketing because the tax season is my bread and butter as far as revenues are concerned. I've got a couple of leads for some new clients and I'm looking forward to being swamped with business.

I'm still trying to figure out how the heck people have/make the time to do everything they want to do and work 40 hours a week. My j-o-b (not to be confused with the business I own) takes up so much of my time and there are SO many things I want to do and see. My manager was laughing at how I'm the only person in our group who always has two or three vacations on our calendar at any one time. I can't help it though - travel is my thing, my weakness, my passion. I really want to hire a personal trainer too but I don't know where I could possibly find the time or the money. I was watching Real Life on MTV and there was a girl who wanted to enter into a "fitness pageant". Although I'm not interested in the pageant aspect, those women have the type of body I would love to have - toned and muscular yet still feminine. I've been slacking off on the gym for the last few months but I was making progress, albeit. I know people think losing weight is hard but GAINING weight (muscle, not fat) is no joke. My goal is to gain ten pounds of muscle. I wonder if I can do it by the honeymoon...

I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week. I may not be posting often while I'm out of town but I will definitely be reading.
