TODAY IS THE DAY

That's right folks, THIRTY years ago today, GeckoGirl was born. My day has started off well. I got a pre-emptive birthday call from GeckoDad last night. He says my card is in the mail and should arrive today and I'll get my gift when I go home this weekend. I got a wakeup call from jezchill and he brought gifts by before I went to work. Yay! He says my other gift has not arrived yet but has been ordered. On the way to work, I called my birthday twin and we wished each other happy birthday. My manager came by a few minutes ago, singing and bearing a "birthday hat" to perch on my cube.

I'm taking a belated birthday trip to Europe soon which should be lots of fun. It will be the last ski trip of the season and I get to go to Paris as well. I love love love Paris and all things French so going back to Paris is the perfect way to celebrate my 30th birthday. The past year has been fabulous but the next twelve months will be even more fabulous. After Europe, there's the wedding and the honeymoon. Woohoo! Then there's the Bahamas and Vegas and who knows where else. Hopefully there will be a new house to decorate soon too. I hope you all enjoy today because I know I will!
